Provincial Government Gazette, published on Tuesday, May 21, contains the notification of the offer of a reward of one thousand pounds for the discovery of an available gold Held within the Province of Hawke’s Bay,—such available gold field being defined to be one that shall be considered by a commission of three persons, to be nominated by the Superintendent, as capable of affording employment to a body of not less than sis hundred diggers at a remunerative rate of wages.
