Post Office Notices.

PANAMA MAIL SERVICE. To Chief Postmasters, Postmasters, and SubPostmasters. In consequence of an arrangement effected with the Directors of the Panama Raihoad Company, the New Zealand postage on newspaper? conveyed by that route will be reduced from threepence to one penny each. No alteration will take place in the ioieign rates, accounted for by this department to London and Panama, on newspuoers addressed to foreign countries. Corrected tables of rates will be furnished as soon as they can he goo ready; in the meantime Postmasters’will be guided by the present table, taking care that twopence is deducted from the present rates as enumerated in the table now in their possession.
