Medicines. OLLUWA i‘S OINTMENT THE MOST BELIABXS 3PEUKD. Its searching and healing properties are known and recognized throughout the world. The number ol years tins invaluable ointment hasstood the test of public opinion (and the longer known the better appreciated) is a testimony of itself more convincing than anything that could bo ■written in praise of its truly wondcrlu healing properties. In the cure of bad legs, bad breasts, sores, wounds, and ulcers, its effect is marvellous. For ringworm, scald-head, scrofula, and diseases of the skin generally, there is no remedy to be compared to it. When assiduously übbed upon the skin (previously well bathed vith warm water) this ointment is ' "kh> absorbed into the system, and cleanses, in its passage, every part to which it is applied.

The ointment, used conjointly with Holloway's pills, will act io searchingly and certainly as to eilcct nres in the most hopeless cases.

It manifests a| peculiar power in restraining inlLoumation, removing stagnation, cooling the| heated blood, and checking all acrimonins and unhealthy discharges.

Diseases attendant on Chit.ihiood.— Diseases incident to early life tall more under the management of the mother than the medical man. Holloway’s ointment should therefore be regarded by her as a “household treasure,” as it never fails in bringing out tho rash in measles and scarlatina, and for the removal of all skin diseases its effect is miraculous. Incases cl whooping cough and croup, this invaluable ointment should bo rubbed twice a day upon the throat and chest, and the youngest invalid will derive therefrom the mo:l soothing relief. Two or three of Holloway’s famous pills, reduced to a powder, will augment tho curative powers of hi» unguent. Doth the ointment and pills should be used in tho following cases:—Had legs, bad breasts, burns, bunions, bite of mosquitos and sand-flies, coco-bay, chiego-foot, chilblains, chapped hands corns (soft), contracted and stiff joints, elephantiasis, fistulas, gout, glandular swellings, lumbago, piles, rheumatism, scald heads, sore heads, sore nipples, sore throats, skin diseases, scurvy, tumors, ulcers, wounds, yaws.
