It cures diseases of the chest scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss of appetite, it regenerates the constitution by purifying the blood, and is, in a word, the most powerful depuraiive known. It never fatigues the stomaca and bowels like the lodide ol Iron and the lodide of Potassium, and is administered with the greatest eflicaey to young children subject to humors, or obstruction of the glands. Hr Cazenave ci St Louis Hospital, Paris, recommends ii particularly in cutaneous diseases, con jointly with the pills that bear his name. Diseases of the Chest.— Syrup of Hypophospkile of Lime, manufactured by Giuhault <fc Co., Chemists. This new medicine, delicious to the palate, is a sovereign remedy for coughs, colds, irritation of the lungs, and is also an excellent remedy in cases of consumption. Under its influence, the cough abates, nocturnal perspirations cease, and the patient rapidly recovers health and llesh. Indigestion oh Dyspepsia. — Elixir of Pepsine, prepared by Gexmaukt & Co., Clvmifits. Pepsine is the gastric juice it»cll, or rather the digestive principle purified, which digests food in the stomach. When from various causes the supply ol the digestive fluid is too small, the inevitable consequences are bad digestion, gastritis, gastralgia, inflammation of the mucous coats of the stomach and bowels, heartburn, anaemia, loss of strength, and in females general derangement. The itlixic of Pepsine, which is sanctioned by approbation of the Paris Academy of Mtjdicino, speedily cures all such diseases,. and prevents vomiting during pregnancy.

They are used in all the Hospitals of Puns by the celebrated Dr Ricord, and are found greatly superior to all preparations ol Copaiba, Cubebs, Ac., and Mineral Kernedies. The Liquid Extract is used in recent cases, and the Capsules in the more chronic; and where all other Medicines have failed, these preparations will always effect a cure.
