Medicines. TpEEKCH MEDICINES IN VOGUE NSW AND MOST YAJ.UABLB MEDICINES TOE HITHEETO INTEACTABLS AND INCUEAELE DISEASES. No MOEH Cod-xiteb On.— Syrup O lodized Horseradish, of Q-eimait.lt & Co. Chemists, Paris. According to the certificates of the Physicians of the Paris Hospitals detailed in the prospectus, and with the approbation of several Academies, this Syrup is employed with the greatest success in place of Cod-liver Oil, to which it is realty superior, it cures disease of the chest, scrofula, lymphatic disorders, green sickness, muscular atony, and loss ol appetite; it regenerates tho constitution by purifying the blood ; and is, in a word, the most powerful depurativo known. It never fatigues the stomach and bowels like the iodide of potassium and the iodide ol iron, and is administered with the greatest efficacy to young children subject to humors or obstruction of the glands. Or Cazenave, of Saint Louis Hospital, Pans, recommends it particularly in cutaneous diseases, conjointly with the pills which bear bis name. No mode Consumption os Diseases op the Chest.— Syrup of Mypopkosphits of Inline, manufactured by Qeimauat i Co., Chemists.—This new medicine, which is delicious to the palate, is a sovereign remedy for coughs, colds, irritation of tiio lungs, and is also an excellent remedy in cases of consumption. Under its iuiiuenco tho cough abates, nocturnal perspirations cease, and the patient rapidly recovers health and llesh.

It is the best adjunct to Cod Liver Oil, and the best preserver of health in tropical climates. No more Copaiba, or Ccbebs.— Capsules of 2leu ico 1 egetalis; also y Liquid Extract of Alahco. —Tliese elegant preparations effect rapid and extraordinary cures of recent and old and severe cases of disease. They are used in ail the hospitals of Paris by the celebrated Dr Kicobd, and arc lound greatly superior to all preparations of Copaiba, Cubebs, &c„ and Mineral Remedies.
