I, JOSEPH RHODES, Deputy-Superin-tendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay. do hereby Proclaim and Notify that, at 12 o’clock at noon on TUESDAY, the 16th day of April next, in the Crown Lands Otnce. «t iVanier. rhe Cormnissi'-mei* of Crown Lands will offer to public competition, under the provisions of the Land Re* guhtions now in force in rlr’.i Province, AGRICULTURAL SECTIONS in the PDKAHU BLOCS, that arc referred to in tbo Schedule hereunto annexed, and at the upset price mentioned therein.* If at any time during the Sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lauds beneficial or expedient for the Publie Service to Reserve from Sale either of the Sections specified in the said Schedule or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so. Crown Lands Office, Napier, February 13, 1307. ,1 MMIGRAIION TO HAWKE’S BAY. | PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. ; All persons wlio may be desirous of bring* ) iag out Relations or Friends—or Settlers who wish to bring out Shepherds, Laborers, or Mechanics, to be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and Ire- ■ land, will be enabled to do so on the following terms. Any householder or other person who Jiall by surety or otherwise give sufficient security for the repayment of pas* sage money, shall be entitled after signing promissory notes for tho amount of such passage, to apply to tho Immigration Agent at Napier, giving the name and s address of the person or persons whom they desire to bring out, and on so doing the Provincial Agent in London will be ins structed to provide a passage to Napier, ' giving for each Immigrant at a rate not > exceeding £lB per adult. • Promissory Notes for a like amount f will also have to be given by intending 3 Immigrants to the Provincial Agent in 3 London. r If the person coming, or his Agent, ac- > cepts of a passage and refuses or neglects i to avail himself thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage money. In the event of death on the voyage half only of the passage money shall bo charged. Tho passßßge money is advanced in the first instance by the Provincial Go- - vernment subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £T Ift* each, commencing from the date of arri* val at Napier.
