Government Advertisements. w r\ m r n th t r? r In pursuance of the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Regulation of Elections’ Act, 1858,” I, George Andrew Oliver, Re* turning Officer tor the Electoral District of Napier Country, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ bearing date the 13th day ol February, lob 7, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an Election will be held for the return of two qualified persons to serve as members of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of candidates will take place at Mr. Tiffen’s Woolshed, at Meanee, on MONDAY, 25th March next, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on TUESDAY, the 26th, and that I will declare the result' of the poll on WEDNESDAY, the 27th March, at 12 o’clock noon.
