New Advertisements, jgILBCTION NOTICE. xn pursuance of tus provisions of Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Regulation of Elections’ Act, 1835,” I, Win. Henry Hunter, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Porangahau, give notice that, by virtue of a writ bearing date the 7th February. 1867, issued under the hand of his Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, an election will be held for the return of one qualified person to serve as a member of the Provincial Council for the said Electoral District ; and that the nomination of candidates will take place at Messrs Hunter’s Woolshed, Porangahau, at noon on Wednesday, the 20th March, and that the poll (if necessary) will be taken on Thursday, the 21st day of March, and that I will declare the result of the poll at five o’clock in the afternoon of the same day. Dated this 28th day of February, 1867, W. H. HUNTER, Returning Officer. The following is the Polling Place for the Electoral District of Porangahau:— Principal polling place—Messrs.
