All persons who may be desirous of bringing out Relations or Friends—or Settlers who wish to bring out Shepherds, Laborers, or Mechanics, to be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and Ireland, will be enabled to do so on the following terms. Any householder or other person who shall by surety or otherwise give sufficient security for the repayment of pas sago money, shall be entitled after signing promissory notes for the amount of such passage, to apply to the Immigration Agent at Napier, giving the name and address of the person or persons whom they desire to bring out, aud on so doing the Provincial Agent in London will be instructed to provide a passage to Napier, giving for each Immigrant at a rate uol exceeding £lB per adult. Promissory Notes for a like amount will also have to be given by intending Immigrants to tho Provincial Agent in London. If tho person coming, or his Agent, accepts of a passage and refuses or neglects to avail himself thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage money. In the event of death on the voyage hall only of the passage money shall be charged. The passsage money is advanced in the first instance by the Provincial Government subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £4 10s each, commencing from the date of arrival at Napier. I, Donald M'Lean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Do hereby Proclaim and Notify that, at 12 o’clock at Noon on TUESDAY, the 26th day of February next, in the Crown Lands Ofiloe, at Napier, the Commissioner of Crown Lauds will offer to public competition, under the provisions of the Land Regulations now in force in this Province, Town and Rural Sections in Clyde, and Rural Sections in the Pohui Bush, taat are referred to in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and at the upset price mentioned therein. If at any time daring the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the Public Service to reserve from sale either of the Sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up. he is hereby authorized to do so.
