Tuesday, Sie February. [Before John Cbxlxxg, Esq., Resident Magistrate.] WHOLESAE hobbest. Thomas Casey was charged by Edward Pulford with haying, on the 30th day of January, stolen from Messrs Stuart <fc Co.'s stores eiirht pairs of trousers, yalue £5. ° Prisoner pleaded guilty. Edward Pulford stated: I am a salesmen at the stores of Messrs Stuart <t Go. A case containing 120 pairs of trousers was left on the veranda of the store, and when opened, was found to contain only ,87 pairs, 33 having been stolen. The Resident Magistrate said that in all probability the prisoner had stolen the whole lot, and sentenced him to 8 month;, imprisonment with hard labor.
