Chief Post Office, Napier, 28th Jan. Mails Clusl, — For the United Kingdom, via Panama, also for the British American colonies, the United States, and other countries of North and South America, Kaikoura, from Wellington, will close at the Chief Post OiHce in Napier, on Friday next Ist February, ISG7, at 11 a.m., on the Spit, and 10 a.m., at the branch office Shakespeare-road. Registered letters received and Money Orders granted till Thursday, 31st inst., at 5 p.m. PETER BOURKE, Chief Postmaster.
