Funeral of the late’Treasurer of Queensland. — The Darling Downs Gazette of the 20 th December, says : —The funeral of the late Mr M‘Lean took place at Westbrook, on Tuesday evening. There was a large attendance of gentleman anxious to pay their last tribute of respect to the late Colonial Treasurer, and there would have been very many more had it not been generally believed that the remains of the deceased would have been removed to Sydney for interment. The pall-bearers were the Hon. J. P. Dell, tj t j tit— nn i luc u. it aua. auu xuli M.L.A., Mr Palmer, M.L.A., Mr Kent, of Jondaryanj Mr Clark of Goomburra, and Mr Deuchar of Glengallan. There were also the representatives of the neighboring stations on the Darling Downs, and a large number of tbe Isoding residents of Toowoomba. The funeral service was performed by the P«,ev. G. J.
