By Dokaid M'Least, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand. 1" DONALD MLEAN, Superintendent of the A, Province of Hawke’s Bay, Do hereby Proclaim and Notify that, at 12 o’clock at Noon on THURSDAY, the 20th day of December next, in the Council Chamber at Napier, the Commissioner of Crown Lands will offer to Public competition, under the provisions of the Land Regulations now in force in this province, AGRICULTURAL SECTIONS known as the NUHAKA RESERVE, in the Nuhaka District, that are referred to in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and at the upset price mentioned therein. If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the Public Service to reserve from sale either of the Sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so. THE following BLOCKS of LAND, cheifly Agricultural, will be offered for Sale by the Provincial Government; — 1. A Block at or near the entrance to the 40-mile Bush, comprising about 5,000 acres. 2. A Block of 12,000 acres at Table Cape. 3. Suburban Allotments at the Ngaruroro Bridge. 4. 500 acres of Agricultural Land at Waikari. 5. 800 acres of Rural Land at Te Wairoa. 6. 400 acres of Bush Land at the Pohui. The size of the several allotments in each of the Blocks specified, and date of sale, will be duly notified in the Provincial Government Gazette. DONALD M'LEAN, Superintendent. AS very great dilatoriness has been displayed ! by Immigrants and their sureties in repay- : ing to the Provincial Government the amount of the passage money advanced by them, —this is to notify that, unless immigrants comply with the i conditions of the Regulations, they will be immediately called upon for a refund in total of their passage money, and the Government will strictly enforce the fulfilment of those Regulations.
