AN OPENING SE RVICE will be held in thia place of worship on Sabbath, the 30th inst., at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Alex. Shepherd, of Waipukurau, to officiate. There will be a collection at the close on account of the Building fund. No Puketapu service on that day. A TEA MEETING will be held in the same place on the EVENING of WEDNESDAY, tho 24th October, when several ministers and gentlemen will take part in the proceedings. Tea on table at 6 p.m. Tickets, 3s each, may be had of Mr P. Sutton, at the ‘ Herald ’ office, or at the store of Messrs Peacock, Meanee.
