Government Advertisements. [PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.Superintendent’s Office, Napier, July 21,1866. JN pursuance of the authority vested in me, I, Joseph Rhodes, Esquire, Deputy Superntendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, Do hereby Notify and Proclaim that certain Section of Land in the West Clive Suburban Block, formerly called the Hikutoto Block, contained in the undermentioned Schedule, will be Sold by Auoti on, in the Council Chamber, Napier, at 11 o’clock on WEDNESDAY, the 29th August, 1866, subject to the Conditions hereinafter stated. JOSEPH RHODES, Deputy Superintendent. SCHEDULE. WEST CLIVE SUBURBAN. 1. The highest bidder to bo declared the purchaser. 2. Should any dispute arise between two or more bidders, the Sections so in dispute will be put up again at the last bond Jide bid and resold. 3. A deposit of 10 per cent, on the sum bid will be required on the fall of the hammer to be paid to the Provincial Treasurer, failing which, the Section in question shall be immediately put up again at the upset price. 4. The residue of the purchase money to be paid on or before the 29th September, 1866, or the deposit paid on the Section will bo forfeited. 5. Upon payment of the nine-tenths of the balance, a Conveyance will bo made to the purchaser at his expense. 6. Sections upon which deposits are forfeited may during a period of six months from the day of sale, be purchased at the price bid for the same at auction, less the 10 per cent, deposit forfeited. 7. If the upset price for any Section be not bid, such Section may, during a period of six months from the day of sale, be purchased at the upset price. 8. Should there be any simultaneous applies-1 tions for the Section or Sections mentioned in Clauses 6 and 7 of these Conditions, then such Section or Sections shall be submitted to competition between the applicant only.
