THURSDAY, 26th JULY, 1866. ARRIVAL OF THE FIRST MAIL VIA PANAMA.
"NULLIUS ADDICTUB JUE2LEE IN VERBA HAGISTEI/*
By the arrival of -the s.s. Ahuriri from Wellington at 2 p.m. yesterday, we are in possession of news from Europe by both mails, —that via Suez having arrived at Wellington from the Bluff on the 22nd instant, and that via Panama on the 23rd. It is a matter of great congratulation that this, the first mail by the new route, should reach the Colony so promptly to date. Full details of the news to hand —extending to the 14th June from England, and to the 24th June from America —will be found elsewhere.
