Thebe has been but one arrival since our last, the Lady Bird, schooner, from Wairoa. There have been no departures since Monday, although several vessels have cleared at the Customs. The s.s. Lord Ashley is due here on Saturday next, I4th inst., and will leave for the South with, the English Mail on Sunday, 15th inst., at noon. The iron clipper ship Weymouth arrived at Wellington on the 3rd inst., after a run of 93 days from London. This vessel was the bearer of the Cook Strait cable. The p.s. G-undagai, we are happy to learu from the N. Z. Advertiser of the 4th, has not become a total wreck. It is expected that she can be repaired and at work within six weeks.
