POSTAGE STAMPS.
[To the Editor of the Hawke's Bay Times.] Sir, —Of all the many blunders of the Stafford Government, the one of which the general public have most cause to complain is that of withdrawing the commission on the sale of postage stamps ; and I trust, Sir, that when the General Assembly meets oar two members will study the interests of the public of Hawke’s Bay so far as to endeavour to get a serious mistake rectified, in which, I have no doubt, they will be joined by many of the members of both Houses.—l am, &c. f One of the Public, Clive, Bth June, 1866.
