The Ferryman will be required to be in attendance from sunrise throughout the year to nine o’clock p.ra. in summer and seven o’clock in winter, and will be authorised to collect (oils according to the undermentioned scale, viz.: — s. d. PASTIES tendering for any of the above-men-tioned articles must specify, iti their tenders the names of their sureties, who will bo bound conjointly in a bond for a regular supply of the article or articles they may engage to furnish. It shall bo distinctly understood that in ail cases the articles arc to be of the best desciiption ; and should any bad or faulty articles be furnished by the contractor, no payment will be made for the same, and they will have to take them back at their own expense, aud supply a good article in their place ; failing which, the Provincial Government may order them to be procured at the expense of the contractor wherever they can be obtained. The contractor shall lodge at the Superintendent’s office a sample of any of the articles for which his tender Las been accepted, if required to do so.
