The Ministry have not yet resigned ; but it is believed they will do so after a Cabinet Council, this afternoon. Mr Ayers is spoken of as tha future Secretary, and Mr Biyth as Treasurer} Mr Boucalt, Attorney-General. Government having refused to entertain the application of the returned members of tha A orthern Territory Expedition for their lost passage and wages due to them, they intend taking legal proceedings. Captain Dashwood is mentioned as the probable Collector of Customs. Mr Townsend sold 1500 hags of sugar, ex Pacific, this morning, at about 20s less than last sale. There is nothing doing in wheat and flour, both bringing nominal prices. Wheat, 7s 2d to 7s 3d bushel. Flour, £l7 10s to £lB per ton. March 23. It is understood that Attorney-General Boucalt has succeeded in forming a Cabinet, the Hon. A. Biyth taking Mr Hart’s place as Chief Secretary, Mr Milne, Commissioner of Crown Lands, vice Neals. Mr Prole, accountant of the National Bank, left by the mail steamer to open a bank at Perth. No business doing. Export buyers of wheat only offer 7s, but holders will not sell. Millers buy small parcels at 7s 3d. Elour nominally £l7 10s to £lB 10s. Bran very fii'm: sales at Is 6d. Holders ask an advance. Arrived.—Britannia, from Gefle, with Baltic timber. Ordered on to Melbourne. March 29. Government offices close till Tuesday. Friday and Monday will be close holidays. Weather very fine. Miss Quinn made a successful appearance at the Victoria Theatre last night. Government laud sale to day realised £20,000. Petitions from the citizens of Adelaide are now being signed against the establishment of a public market.
