THE intelligence was pub? lish'ed in a second edition of the Grey Eiver Argus on the 29th ultimo.For several days past there have been rumours to the effect that a very important discovery had and that a number of .good proßEecta.--4Ve- lmve taken pains-to-tain such and we have gathered; from various sources what ■ we believe to be reliablcinformation. The short repprt we gave the-.other day is substantially true, and there is every reason to believe .that one ofthefrichest gold fields ever opened on the West Coast has been ;discovered.
