Advertisers will, therefore, find the HAWKE’S BAY TIMES a desirable medium for making their wants known to the public, and the commercial portion of the community will find it advantageous in giving notice of Merchandise, Produce, Stock, &c., for sale. Terms of Advertising.—One Shilling per every half inch or under for the first insertion j and for each subsequent insertion, half price. Quarterly adv ertiseiutmts, per contract. Cards, not exceeding half an inch, 10s fid per quarter. Advertisements should be left at the office, on the Spit, not later than fi o’clock on the evenings of Wednesday and Saturday; and at the Town Agent’s not later than 6 p.m. Orders for withdrawal or alteration of advertisements not later than noon, to ensure attention. All advertisements should state the number of times they are to bo inserted, and whether once or twice weekly. Those not containing this notification will bo continued and charged for until countermanded.
