Te Ua a Pbxsoxeh.—The Taranaki Herald, of the I7lh inst, says that Te Ua, the founder, and, until lately, the high priest of the Pai Mariro faith, was made a prisoner of by General Chute at Ala* tahaha (close to Opumike), where ho was living with Adam Clark’s people. As wo mentioned some two months since, Te Ua had separated from the rebels and had tendered Ids submission. He was apprehended, it is said, on'suspicion of being coi cerned in some of tire Wanganui murders, and will betaken, we suppose, to Wellington, for trial.
