BULES: The Auckland Jockey Club Rules will be strictly adhered to. Mares and Geldings to receive an allowance of three pounds. No person, who is not a subscriber to the amount of two Guineas, shall bo allowed to enter a horse. The first race each day, to start at twelve o’clock precisely. The bell to‘bo rung a quarter of an hour before each race. Three horses to start in each race, or no publio money will be given. The second horse will save his stakes in each race where public money is given except the Consolation. All entries to be made under scaled cover, and to bo addressed to the Secretary, at the Masonic Hotel, Napier, on or before "W ednesday, 21st February, at 4 p.m. Age and description of horses, and colors of riders, to bo stated at time of entry. Five per cent, on all winnigs to be deducted for expences of the Course. The decision of the Stewards will bo considered Anal. By order of the Stewards, G. E. G. RICHARDSON, Hon. Sec. and Treasurer. The Stands for Booths on tho Race Course will be limited to THREE, which will be exposed at Auction, at the Masonic Hotel, on the evening of the closing of the Entries, Wednesday, the 21st February, at 9 o’clock. By order of tho Stewards, G. E. G. RICHARDSON, Hon. Sec. Napier Races, Ist and 2nd March. Notice is hereby given that all DOGS found on the Course will be destroyed.
