Napier Militia The above mentioned Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Privates of the Militia and Volunteers, being the best shots in contesting for the District Prizes, ■will fire on MONDAY the 29th inst., at 9 o’clock a.m., (weather permitting), to decide who shall be the Representative of this Province in the contest at Wellington for the Government Prizes. 21 names are published. There being four ties at 16 these men will have to fire off previous to the firing for the Representative of the Province so as to decide which name shall be withdrawn. (Signed) E.
