ARRIVAL OF THE WONGA WONGA AT ADELAIDE, WITH EUROPEAN SEPTEMBER MAIL PER ELLORA.

TELEGRAMS TO OCTOBER 12. Wb are indebted to the courtesy of Assistant Pilot Keaefx, for a copy of a second edition of the Sydney Morning Herald, 17th November, which he procured on hoard the Rangatira, and which, we believe, was the only copy on board. (From the King George’s Sound Telegraphic Correspondent of Sydney Morning Herald.) Adelaide, 17th Nov., 3 p.m. The Wonga Wonga arrived at Glenelg Pier at 9 a.m. Her passage to the Sound occupied 101 hours, and from thence 92 hours. The P. and 0. steamer Ellora, Captain Skottowe, arrived at King George’s Sound at 9 a.m. on the 13th iast., having left Guile on the 26th October. PASSENGERS. For Sydney—Messrs. Pike, Hanley, Terry, Ridley, Grouch, Allan, Stamphy, Paste, Walton, Saddington, St. Jean, Jones, Johnson, and Nickliue. For Melbourne —Mr '& Mbs Hill, Messrs. Swan, Ball, Pritchard, Carson, Wallack, Spiro, Harris, Joshua, Whitney, Walker, Donald, Goldsborough and Pringdestre. For South Australia and King George’s Sound.—Mr and Mrs Hughes, Mrs Gerber, Inspector Reid, Messrs Spicer & Bloomfield, The unusual detention of the mail this month has arisen in consequence of the delays of the arrival of the P. and 0. Company’s steamers —firstly, the Mooltan, from Suez to Galle, arrived at the latter place four days after her time ; secondly, the steamer Ellora, although meeting with only moderate trade winds during the passage from Galle, ran short of coal, and was compelled to put into Fremantle to obtain a fresh supply; and most fortunately the P, and 0. Company, a very short time ago, had sent 300 tons there. The Ellora was thus enabled to proceed with her mails and passengers. She arrived at Fremantle at 3 p.m. on the 10th inst., and left at 5‘30 p.m. on the 11th. The Ellora was to leave the Sound at 11 p.m. on the 13th instant.
