The Ferry Punt will be kept in constant repair by the Provincial Government. The Ferryman will be required to be in attendance from sunrise throughout the year to nine o’clock p.m. in summer and seven o’clock in winter, and will be authorised to collect tolls accordParties tendering must state the rent they are willing to pay for the Ferry House aud Punt, for the year 1866, or until such time as the Bridge is open for the traffic of drays, and name two persons ns sureties who will be prepared to enter into a joint bond for £2OO for the due performance of the duties required, and for the delivery of the Ferry House and Punt at the end of the term. It shall be distinctly' understood that in nil cases the articles are to be of the best description ; and should any* bad or faulty articles be furnished bv the contractor, no payment will be made for the same, and they will have !o take theta back at their own expense, and supply a good article in their place ; failing which, the Provincial Government may order them to bo procured at the expense of the contractor wherever they can bo obtained.
