Newspapers for Great Britain.—Considerable misconception existing on the subject of the postage of newspapers for the United Kingdom on the public mind, we give the regulations now in force, by which it will be seen that a penny stamp is only needed on such newspapers as are deliverable in some other part of the Colony* when posted after seve’n days from the date of publication. But for the Australian Colonies and the Mother Country no stamp is required for any newspapers of whatever date they may he 1. —To any part of the Colony, if published in the Colony and posted within seven days from publication...
