This block will be laid out in lota of from ten to sixty acres, and is nearly all rich Agricultural Laud, a great deal of it abutting on tho Wairoa river. It will be disposed of by public auction. ' S.—AGRICULTURAL LAND, adjoining the Suburban Land at the Wairoa and Mahia, and in different parts of the Wairoa and adjacent districts. There is a largo extent of really fine Agricultural Land to be brought into tho market from time to time, as demand for it occurs. _ This land will be surveyed and laid out in sections suitable for the occupation of agricultural Settlors, and will bo sold to the first applicant at One pound per acre. Land for commonage will he reserved adjacent to each .Block of Agricultural Land for 14 years, equal in extent to the quantity <>f laud sold or offered for sale. . 4— PASTORAL LAND, (about 120,000) One hundred and twenty thousand acres of Land suitable for Sheep Runs, situate in Wairoa and adjacent Districts, will be divided into blocks not exceeding in any case ten thousand acres and be leased by public auction for fourteen years to the highest bidder. The sanction of the Legislature has to be obtained before these Runs can bo disposed of. ' 6.—TOWNSHIP OP THE MAHIA.—This Township will consist of about 200 Town Sections. It is situate at the the shipping place of the Mahia Peninsula,- and adjacent, Districts. The land is good in the vicinity and the Crown lias a largo acreage there for disposal. This wjlTb'e Township solcTby public auction. 6.—SUBURBAN LAND at the Mahia, ad Jacent to the Towship and of good quality will be sold in lots of from ten to sixty acres by public auction* ' ?.—About six thousand acres of the Ahuriri Plains, well known to be the richest Agricultural Land in the Colony, and immediately adjoining the Township of Napier. These Blocks are held in lease from the Natives for periods of twenty-one and twenty-two years, and will bo leased by public auction in lots suitable for the settlement of an agricultural population for like periods. ■ A future notice will be issued giving (he day on which these valuable Lands will be thrown open to the public, and particulars as to upset price, size of lots, &c,, will be published. Settlers desiring to make permanent homes are invited to inspect the Districts about to bo opened for settlement , they will find the land of excellent quality and the climate the finest lu New Zealand.
