The s.s. Beautiful star, Capt. Morwick, left Auckland on the evening of Tuesday, the Ist, at 9 o’clock. Had strong westerly winds, with fine weather to the Bast Cape; the wind then veered round to sou-west. Dropped anchor in the roadstead at 11 o’clock on the night of Thursday, the 9rd, thus making the upward and downward passage in days—rather sharp work. She leaves again for Auckland with another cargo of sheep, this eveniug. The s.s. Star of the South left, with a cargo of sheep for Auckland, on Saturday morning last. The s.s. llaugatira. Captain Mundlo, arrived from Wellington on Saturday last, about 1 p.m. She left for Auckland about the same hour yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. The p.s. Sandfly, arrived in this port on Saturday evening. W e learu that the Government have disposed of this vessel to some mercantile firm in Auckland : and that it is lor that port, she is bound—having put into Napier for coaL She entered the Iron Pot yesterday (Sunday) morning for that purpose. '
