I, Donald M'Leajt, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay aforesaid, do hereby notify and proclaim that the land described *in the annexed Schedule is reserved from .Public Sale for purposes of special settlement under the additional Land Eegulations of the Province of Wellington, of the 15th February, 1855, from the day of the date hereof. Boundaries: Commencing at Oraka, thence it runs to Pareihe’ thence to Mangaroa, thence to Punawehiwehi, to Otamoana, to Kaitangi Karoro, to Hautaroa, Mangaowhau, Tikopu, Pakake-a-Makere, Wakakaumu, A Hika Tupuni Wairenganui, Pukewhatu, Mauugatea, and the sea ; thence on the Ahimanawa and to Taramahiti te Moemotu, telka, a-Tama-te-Hoe-te Wakatahoe te Kereru Maota, Mokotoi to Mahia, ts Waha o Tounga, te Upoka o Tataramoa, Papawha-Kaanga, Taki taki te Pakipaki, and thence to Oraka, the eemmenoement of the boundaries. A piece is to be reserved for the natives at Kinikini under the hill called Taupiri, os a fishing residence, as more particularly shown on the plan annexed to the Deed of Sale. Nuhaka Block —lo,ooo Acres. Boundaries; Commencing at the mouth of the Nuhaka river and follows the course of that river to lat, 300 South, being the Northern Boundary of the Province of Hawke’s Bay; thence following that meridian in an easterly direction to a line starting from Tamata o rika to Taumatakaingakaka, thence to Teikalieri, Taumata o te Tahinga, Ngawhakatakariri, Pukateanui Tatnahini a Tutaorau, Purilukanui; here it descends to the coast, and follows the coast to Waikokopu te Huki Takararoa, to Iho-o-te-rataau, Te-urufi-te-awa-a-tamatea, Waitaniwha, Wamema Hou hou o tu, te Araputa Waitio Whataroa, and the mouth of the Nuhaka tho commencement of the boundary.

Lowed Waieoa 810ck— 3570 Acres. Boundaries: Commencing at the Waiotureia, and goes thence to Papa o te Uetaha te Whanga a to Ruruku, Hera hern, te Wai o te Manu i teka, te Kaonga • hero it descends into the Wairoa, and follows the Wairoa upwards to the Wbakahu ; here it leaves the Wairoa, and ascending the Hauhirihiri Creek it goes on to the Ahimauawba ; descending thence into the llounui Creek, it follows the liounui Creek to the beach to Whakamahu, thence along the beachlo Rangdioua, and from Rangihouto the mouth of the Wairoa at te Ari o Tapaae ’ thence it follows the Wairoa to te \\ aiolurci, the commencement of the boundary. Urpcii Waieoa Block— 1,000 Acres. Boundaries: Commencing at the Waiotureia, the boundary of the land ceded to the Queen, thence it follows the Wairoa River upwards to the fence of Pero, W. Lockwood ; here leaving the Wairoa, it goes inland to Te Noti a Bapau ; thence by the Ara Totaki to Rukautihia, and to the Wai o te Manu i te Ba, which is its junction with the boundary of the land sold to the Go vernmeut by Paora, Hipora, and Pitiera. Waihxja Block —2l,ooo Acres. Boundaries: Commencing on the coast at Mangapukatea> thence proceeds inland ascending to Waiorangi, thence to Taumaro o te Pakipaki, thence toHiuepaka, thence to Wnha o te Bangi, thence to the Whakaruarumaru, thence to Puketoi, thence to Wharekai, thence to Baihunalmna, thence to the Hinu, thence along the path till it reaches Bui Matariki, and from Bai Matariki to Ilaraungamea thence to Wairama; here it descends into the source of Waihua, and follows the course of AVaihua to the coast, and then proceeds along the coast, to Mangapuketea, the commencement of the boundary.
