THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
William Colenso, Esq., M.H.R., left Napier in the Egmont on Tuesday night last to take his seat in the Assembly. We believe that the Auckland members were all on board the Egmont. In consequence of the postponment of the opening of the Assembly, they would only bo one day behind time. We understand that Mr Ormond proceeds in the Qneeu this day.
