The Hawke's Bay Times. NAPIER, WEDNESDAY, 14th JUNE, 1865.
We proceed to give in continuation of our last, tbe second of the series of tables snpplied by the Registrar General, from tbe data furnished by the late census taken in the month of December, 1864, which shows the particulars relating to the Military Settlers, &c., in the several Provinces, in a form similar to that in the General Summary, No. 1. , If the several totals in this table be subtracted from those given in Table 1, the resulting figures will show the population, Ac.,-exclusive of the military settlers and other colonial forces, that is, of the strictly civil population, &c„ of the several provinces, of the Colony, The table will be found in another column.
