M ILITIA AND VOLUNTEER NOTICE. DISTRICT ORDER. Napier, 22nd May, 1865. The Waipawa Volunteer Cavalry will parade for Drill at Waipawa on the 2nd and 4th Tue»day in each month, at 11 ©’clock a.m. By order, E. WITHERS, Capt. & Adjt. Militia and Volunteer*. BATTALION ORDERS. Napier, 22nd May, 1865. No. 1. All that part of No 6 or Captain Herrick’s Company, resident near Patangata, which has heretofore been in charge of Lieutentant Curling, is transferred to and will form a part of No. 6 or Capt. H. R. Russell’s Company, from the Ist inst. * No. 2. All that part of No 6 or Capt. H. R. Russell's Company, residentin and about the Township of Hampden, Captain Carlyon and Ensign Inglis’ Stations is transferred to and will in future form a part of No. 5 or Captain Herrick’s Company. No. 8. The men of the two Companies so transferred will taka their arms &c. to the Companies to which they are removed; the Officers will take and give receipts for the sms, accoutrements, ammunition, &c., after satisfying themselves that they are all in good order. No. 4. The right subdivisions of No. 6 Company will parade for Drill on the Ist and 3rd Tuesday in each month, at Waipawa, and the other subdivision at such places and hours as the Captain commanding may direct. No. 5. The right subdivision of No. 7 Company on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, at Waipukurau, and the left at Lieutenant Grant’s Station, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday, at such hours as the Captain commanding may direct. No. 6. The right subdivision of No. 5 Company on the Ist and 3rd Friday, and the left on the Ist. and 3rd Monday, at such places and horns as Capt. Herrick may appoint. By order, E. Tiffen and John Wilkinson, the Vestrymen, Messrs. Carver, Janisch, and Faulkner, —or either of the local Banks.
