The Customs officers stationed at Moamo have seized the Echuca pnnt for conveying a case of medicines and perfumery across the Murrav from the Victorian side. The mails- only have* been allowed to cross on sufferance until instructions have been received from the Customs authorities in Sydney, ' ‘ The Shenandoah enlistment case terminated today. The Jury returned a verdict that the prisoners were guilty of attempting to enlist in the Confederate ; service. This decision was characterised as an unjust verdict, but the judge overruled the objections raised, and sentenced Charley to ten days’ imprisonment. Mackenzie, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced to a similar punishment, and the boy Walmsley was discharged. Adelaide. March 13.
