Residence toe Sib Geoege Grey in Wellington.—The Spectator says,:—lt is reported that the Government’have purchased' the estate of G, Hart, Esq., at Lowry Bay, for the private residence of his‘Excellency the Governor. The estate, which is in a pleasant retired situation on the north-east side of the harbor, contains between five and six hundred acres .of land,and a convenient house on which Mr Hart was about to make extensive alterations. The official residence of the Governor in Wellington will be where it has always been, and a new building, suited to the requirements of the; Governor, will probably be erected bn the site of the present Government House. ,~, • .
