Immigration to Hawke’s Bay. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. ALL PERSONS’ wbomay be desirous of bringing out Relations or Friends—or Settlers who wish to bring out hepherds, Laborers, or Mechanics, to be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and Ireland will be enabled to do to on the following term Any householder or other person who shall by soi'eiy or otherwise giro sufficient security for the repayment of passage money, shall bs entitled, after signing promissory notes forth# amount of such passage, to apply to the Immigration Agent at Napier, giving the name and address of the person or persons wbjn they des.re to bring out, and on so doing, the Provincial Agent in London will be instructor' Jo provide a passage to Napier, giving for eac.i Immigrant at a rate not exceeding £lB per adult. Promissory Notes for a 'ike amount will also have to bo giveu by intending Immigrants to th o Provincial Agent in London. If the person coming, or bis Agent, accepts of a passage and refuses or neglects to avail thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage money. In the event of death on the voyage half only of the passage money shall be charged. The passage money is advanced in the first instance by the Provincial Government, subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £4 10s. each, commencing from the date of arrival at Napier.
