Gill’s, Masonic Hotel, Napier, on or before Tuesday, 28th February, 1865, not later than 9 p.m. Age of horses, and colors of riders, to be stated at time of entry. No person, who is not a Subscriber to the amount of two guineas, shall be allowed to enter a horse. Jockeys riding in any other colors than those named at time of entry, or wilfully making a false art, will be Sued one guinea, to be paid before the horse starts, houre first race each day to start at twelve o’clock precisely. The bell to be rung a quarter of an R before each race. Taces to be i an under the rules of the Newmarket Club. Three horses to start in each race, or no public money will be given. I DONALD M‘LEAN, Superintendent of the 9 Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that at noon on Satuedap, the 4th March, 1865, the Commissioner of Crown Lands will offer to public competition under the provisions of the Land .Regulations now in force in this province, rural sections in the village of Wallingford, Eparaima, that are referred to in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and at Hie upset price mentioned therein.
