"VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Minor _L 1 Sittings, under the Provisions of the “ Supreme Court Amendmedt Act, 1862,” will be held at the Court House, Napier, within the Judicial Middle District of New Zealand, before His Honor Alexander James Johnston, Judge of the Supreme Court, to whom has been assigned the Judicial Middle District, on FRIDAY, the third day oTFebruary, Oue Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-five, at ten o’clock in the forenoon. MIDDLE DISTRICT, Notice is hereby given that the Circuit Sittings of the Supreme Court for the despatch of Civil and Criminal business, will be bolaen at the Court House, Napier, on WEDNESDAY, the first day of February, One Thousand Eight Handred and Sixty-five, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, at which time, all persons under recognizances, as Prosecutors, Defendants, or Witnesses, are required to give their attendance. ALL PERSONS who may be desirous of bringing out Relations or Friends—or Settlers who wish to bring out Shepherds, Laborers, or Metn be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and Ireland will be enabled to do so on the fo.lowing terms. Any housjhoider or other person who shall by surety or otherwise give sufficient security for the repayment of passage money, shall be entitled, after signing promissory notes for the iunount of such passage, to apply to the Immigration Agent at Napier, giving the name and address of the person or persons whom they desire to bring out, and on so doing, the Provincial Agent in London will be instructed to provide a passage to Napier, giving for each Immigrant at a rate not exceeding £lB per adult. Promissory Notes for a like amount will also have to be given by intending Immigrants to the Provincial Agent in London. If the person coming, or his Agent, accepts of a passage and refuses or neglects to avail thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage money. In the event of death on the Voyage half only of the passage money shall be charged. The passage money is advanced in the first instance by the Provincial Government, subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £4 10s. each, commencing from the date of arrival at Napier.
