All entries to be under sealed cover, and to be addressed to the Secretary, at Mr J Gill’s Masonic Hotel, Napier, on or before Tuesday, 28th February, 1865, not later than 9 p.m. of horses and colors of riders, to be stated at time of entry. ° ’ No person, who is not a Subscriber to the amount of two guineas, shall be allowed to enter ahorse Jockeys riding m any other colors than those named at time of entry, or wilfully making a false start, will be fined one guinea, to be paid before the horse starts. ° The first race each day to start at twelve o’clock precisely.
