BILART & CO. beg to inform the Inhabitants of Napier that they intend CLEARING OUT their SUMMER STOCK of DRAPERY, C L 0 T H ING, HATS, &c., (Previous to stock taking), at 25 per cent, reduction in price, to commence on Monday, 9th January. ALL PERSONS who desirous of bringing out Relations or Friends—or Settlers who wish to bring out Shepherds, Laborers, or Mechanics, to be selected by their correspondents in Great Britain and Ireland will be enabled to do so on the following terms. Any householder or other person who shall by surety or otherwise give sufficient security for the repayment of passage money, shall he entitled, after signing promissory notes for the amount of such passage, to apply to the Immigration Agent at Napier, giving the name and address of the person or persons whom they desire to bring out, and on so doing, the Provincial Agent in London will bo instructed to provide a passage to Napier, giving for each. Immigrant at a rate not exceeding £lB per adult. Promissory Notes for a like amount will also have to be given by intending Immigrants to the Provincial Agent in London. Xf the person coming. or bis A cent. accents ot 1 a passage and refuses or'sieglects to avail thereof after notice has been given in writing that the vessel is to sail, the party so doing shall be liable to forfeit half of the passage money. In the event of death on the voyage half only of the passage money shall be charged. The passage money is advanced In the first instance by the Provincial Government, subject to repayment in four equal half-yearly instalments of £4 10s. each, commencing from the date, of arrival at Napier.
