LONDON WOOL REPORT.
JULY 25, 18(1 1. The third and most important sale of the year commenced on the 21st July, the arrivals to date comprising the enormous and unprecedented quantity of bales—Australian, 29,812 ; Tort Philip, 50,-1 SI) ; Van Dieman’s Land, 19,179 ; Adelaide, 12,368 ; Swan River, 357 ; Isow Zetland, 25,152 ; Cape, 10,003—Total, 142,020. The at tendance of buyers, both home and foreign, was good, but not so strong in numbers as at the commencement of the May aeries ; biddings, however, were animated, and prices may bo quoted about the average of last sales. The continuance of present rates depends much upon the progress of harvest and monetary operations.
