All persona dealing with the said ALEXANDER BLAIR for the purchase of Timber or any other property belonging to the said firm willjbe held liable for the value thereof. NOTICE is Hereby Given that in pursuance of an Act passed in the last session of the General Assembly, intituled “An Act to repeal clause 15, ‘Waste Lands Act, 1858,’ section 7, clause 28, of the General Land Regulations for the sale of Waste Lands in New Zealand, proclaimed 4th March, 1853, and the ‘ Hawke’s Bay Naval and Military Settlors’ Act, 1861,’ so far as they affect the Provinces of Wellington and Hawke’s Bay,” all intending Naval and Military Settlers, under the foregoing provisions, must make their claims for Land Orders in the Province of Hawke's Bay at this office at once, as the limitation for the receipt of such claims, in terms of the Act, expire on the 12th day of December next, after which date no claims whatever for such orders can be entertained. It is requested also of those who have already made their claims, that they will apply without delay for the issue of their orders, and return of the documents left in support thereof. J. 0.
