COMMERCIAL.
AUCKLAND. hITE STOCK MARKET.— Week ekdimj September 11. At the Triangle on Tuesday last, from 40 to 50 head store cattle were penned, principally yearlings ; full prices were obtained for them. The ewes and lambs brought 21s ; merino wethers, 225. each. Newmarket on Thursday was fairly supplied with stock, the dairy cows were generally of inferior quality, and sold at low rates. Good animals brought from £ll to £IG each. Store cattle were in limited numbers, and sold lower than in the previous week. About 90 head fat cattle mot with a free sale. Provincial fatted cattle at late rates. Australian cattle from £2 to £3 per head higher than have lately ruled. Store sheep were in better supply, the ewes and hoggets brought 31s 6d each—lambs given in. Merino wethers, from 225. to 265. 6d. each. A full market of fat wethers, but not prime quality, brought from 265. to 355. each.—lf,Lackland's Meport,
