Office of Militia and Volunteers, Napier, Aug. 18,1864. The following order is published for general information. Battalion Orders. By Major G. S. Whitmore. Napier, August 18,1864. THE MILITIA AND VOLUNTEERS in the Town of Napier, will assemble for DRILL on WEDNESDAY NEXT, the 24th inst., at 7 o’clock a.m., the weather having being unfavorable on Wednesday last, the usual parade day. Proclamation. Hy Donald IH'Lean, JSsq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Colony of Heto Zealand. I DONALD M’LEAN, Superintendent of the % Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that, in pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of JSew Zealand, intituled “ The Tikokino Reserve Act, 1863,” the Commissioner of Crown Lands will, at Noon on FRIDAY, the 7th day of October now next, disposed of by Public Auction all those parcels of land forming portion of the agricultural reserve site in the Township of Hampden, in the said Province, as the same are described in the Schedule hereto annexed, at the upset price of £1 per acre: and, further, that all such lots as shall remain unsold at the said sale, will remain open for selection and purchase at the said upset price.
