Lord Ashley, T. Eandall, Commander, left Otago on the 20th inst., at 4T5 p.m., and arrived at Lyttelton on the 21st, at ll'lu a.m., having made the passage in 19 hours. She experienced beautifully calm weather. There was no sign of the English mail when she left Otago. Left Lyttelton, July 22, at 015 p.m., and arrived at Wellington, July 23, at B'o am., experienced fresh northerly winds with head sea throughout. Left Wellington July 25, 4-0 p.m.; arrived at Napier, July 26,12, noon--20 hours. During the first and latter part of the voyage, the weather was calm, but at night she experienced strong breezes from the westward.
