THE FOLLOWING RULES were passed at a meeting held by the Committee on the 2nd inst., and* arc published for tne information ot members:— The shooting for prizes to take place on the last SATURDAY of every three months, provided one-half the members are present, and the day favorable ; if not, to be deferred till the following Saturday. The first firing to take place on tho last SATURDAY in AUGUST. Tho amount to bo shot for to be 4-sths of tho money subscribed, The number of prizes to bo shot for to be 7 ; 6 to be of equal amount and tho 7th one-half more. Any member arriving on tho ground after the first range has been fired, shall bo disqualified for firing for any prize on that day. The Government rules to be strictly adhered to ; and one of tho Committee to bo appointed to superintend the firing for tho day. It is also proposed that every exertion shall be smade to obtain a suitable range in some locality where the safety and convenience of the public hall not be interfered with.
