NELSON.

Acclimatization. —The following birds were put on board the Violet, for this port; by Mr. Morrison, agent for our Provincial Government;—lß blackbirds, 6 thrushes, 42 starlings, 24 larks, 48 greenfinches, 48 chaffinches, 48 yellow-hammers, 48 brown linnets, 72 sparrows. Our old fellow colonist, Mr. F. Kelliug, who is returning to Nelson in the Violet, kindly undertook the of the birds on their passage and should a fair proportion of them reach •us in safety, they will.speedily, with our previous importations, make our woods and fields resound with song. We should have been glad to Lave seen other birds in the list, but we must look for these we suppose on some future occasion.
