New Scale of Fees. The following Order in Council is published in the New Zealand Gazette, of the 27th ult. ORDER IN COUNCIL. G. Grey, Governor. At the Government House, at Auckland, on the 19th day of April, 1564. Present:— His Excellency the Governor in Council. By virtue of the powers in me vested by the “ Deeds Registration Amendment Act, ISOS, - ’ I do hereby order that, in lieu of the lees heretofore payable in respect of the Registration at Deeds throughout the colony of New Zealand, there shall, from and after the 31st day of May next ensuing, he chargeable the following scale of Fees : £ s. d. For the Registration of any Instrument 0 10 0 For the recording and comparing thereof, for every Folio of seventy-two words 0 0 6 For any section or part of section, allotment, or part of an allotment, contained in any map or plan delineated or any instrument presented for Registration, exclusive of sections or allotments necessarily delineated to show the boundaries of the land dealt with by the Deed, (charged as two folios 0 10 For a copy or extract from any recorded instruments, or deposited memorial or instrument, for every folio of seventy-two words 0 0 6 For every copy of, or extract from the general index, for every line 0 0 6 For every search or inspection of indices or recorded instruments, or deposited memorials or instruments, for each individual property or lot ... 0 1 0 For every certificate by a Registrar or Deputy-Registrar of Deeds of a copy of any recorded or deposited instrument, besides the fee chargeable for copying same 0 5 0 lor the deposit of every document for safe custody 0 10 0 lor every attendance to -produce any instrument under Clause ' 23, “ Deeds Registration Amendment Act, 1663.” ... 1 1 0 Thomas B.
