The Rangatira, Capt. Mundle, arrived from Wellington this morning. She brings dates to Saturday. The Queen is advertised to leave Wellington this day, on a special trip to Napier and back. OTAGO. The news received by the s.s. Fheobe, from Otago possesses more than ordinary interest. A disastrous fire had occurred at Dunedin, which was rendered more destructive from the want of a supply of water. The damage done, it is said exceeds £IOO,OOO, only about a sixth of which amount was covered by insurance. The Mercantile, £2400; Liverpool and London, £5,000; Royal, £3,000 : New Zealand, £2,000; Otago, £SOO ; and Australasia, about £1,500; making a total of £14,000. The cause of the fire remains unknown. The great cricket match between the All-Eng-land Eleven and Twenty-two of Otago, had come off with the following results: —Otago Ist innings 71 ; second innings 88, total 154. All-England Ist innings 99, 2nd innings 58, with nine wickets to spare. A second match was played between the AllEngland Eleven and a United Twenty-two of Otago and Canterbury, when the latter in their Ist innings obtained 91, and the former 71, of which 42 were made by Grace. In the 2nd innings the United Twenty-two made 68 when the stumps wore drawn and the game unfinished, as the All-England Eleven had to leave for Canterbury. By the arrival of the s.s Queen we learn that

the All-England Eleven beat the twenty-two of Canterbury in one innings, with one wicket to spare. All-England Ist innings 137. Total Canterbury 135.— Advertiser , Feb. 13.
